CLEVELAND

This is another project we designed and built with the guys from Alma Landscape. We loved having the opportunity to design Joe and Ali’s garden. The project required us to save a mature crabapple tree, connect the outbuilding to the house, create open flexible space for their kids to play, and bring a small slice of ecological heaven to their backdoor. We included a wood burning fire area, small wood store, fencing to keep the dogs in and an outdoor dining terrace. The mature shrubs were saved and a matrix of shade loving plants was underplanted. The Garden is in the shadow of massive, historic native red oaks (Quercus rubra) so the planting palette reflects that. We included a full sun pollinator bed to engage the senses when you pass between the home and the outbuilding.  This garden is still young, more photos to come as it matures.
